Game Description Edit

The druids are the priests of Sylanna, Elemental Dragon of Earth and living embodiment of Nature. As such they are granted control over the magic of the elements, which they call upon in times of peril.

Involvement Edit

The Druid is a simple spellcaster/ranged unit. They can ethier improve the defense of their allies or cast lightning on their enemies. Druids have a short spell casting life, with only 2 spell casts of Lightning Bolt.

Strategy Edit

The Druid is a spell caster/ranged unit. Without any hero skills/Artifact Sets that improve their casting ability (Refined Mana/Sar-Issus Regalia), they can only use Lightning Bolt twice. Druids are fitting for a Tier 4 unupgraded creature, but they can enjoy the benefits of Refined Mana (4 casts of Lightning bolt alone) and Sar-Issus Regalia (8 times when combined with Refined Mana).

Trivia Edit

  • Druids appear as a Hero class in Heroes IV/III
  • Druids appear in Sylvan's Defense Towers.
  • Strangely, Druids have 1 more HP than their elder brethren (thought to be a glitch)
  • Druids have always been in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Of Course, they have had many different appearances, many different aspects - from a simple ranged unit in H1 to a spellcasting hero in H3-4 and back down to spell caster/ranged unit in H5.
